About MotorCity Josh and the BIG 3
From Warren, MI, Joshua Steven Ford was raised in a musical family and had a deep passion for the guitar from a young age. By 19, he was already making a living as a full-time musician, drawing inspiration from icons like Howlin’ Wolf, Albert Collins, and Taj Mahal.
Known for his songwriting skills, versatility across multiple instruments, and captivating slide guitar playing, Motor City Josh embarked on a tireless 15-year tour (2000-2015), covering all 48 states of the contiguous Along the way, he and his bandmates traveled countless miles, building a dedicated fan base throughout the South and the entire East Coast, spanning from sunny Key West, FL to picturesque Rockland, ME.
